Best Blogging Practices

For all you bloggers out there, I thought an interesting topic would be to review the best blogging practices. Although there is a lot of information on the net regarding this topic, a lot of it is not that insightful. I came across a couple of good articles that I think are good to share, I have summarised the main points below:

Attract users to your articles from the beginning by having a powerful title and strong opening paragraphs
Use the right keywords in your title, links and tags (search engine
Engage with your own readers by keeping the content relevant and exciting, and by responding to their comments
Read and engage with other blogs. Link to other blogs and/or previous posts of your own in order to expand the conversation as well as get linking benefits
Be casual in your articles and let your blog live and breathe, developing its own voice and personality. Your articles need not be perfect!
Write regularly and give people a reason to return
